- Fully licensed counselor
- You're recognized by your licensure board to provide clinical counseling independently. CFRC, or Accelerated CFRC if you have at least 4,000 licensed hours with first responders.
- Counselor under supervision
- You provide counseling but aren't independently licensed yet, or you're a chaplain or group facilitator in a treatment setting. CFRA
- Supporter of first responders
- You don't provide counseling, but you work with responders: volunteer coordinators, treatment staff, family and friends. CFRS
