Bio:Brienne (Brie) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and lives and works in San Francisco, California where she opened her private psychotherapy practice, Mosaic Psychotherapy & Consulting in 2018. Brie moved to private practice after several years in high-acuity medical settings, bringing her experience with catastrophic illness, injury and trauma into her therapy practice. Brie got her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) in 2002 from Castleton University in Vermont and her Master's Degree in Social Work from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. Christina moved to Redding CA in 2013 and began working as a social worker for a local forster care agency. Bio:Dr. Irit Goldman received her Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy in 2002. She has experience working extensively with women victimized in domestic violence and sexual, emotional abuse. In 2004, she created free support group for parents grieving infant loss. Bio:Having been a police officer myself for 11 years of my life and a SWAT team member for 5 of those 11 years, I experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly. I left the job in 2017, exactly 11 years after my hire date because it was time for me to start anewcareer and help my brothers and sisters in a different capacity. I am not only a former first responder but I married one as well. My husband is a firefighter/paramedic so I get to experience the life of a first responder spouse as well. My desire is to give back to my community and to my fellow responders by providing support, understanding, compassion, and healing. Since graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2011, she has worked throughout Chicago providing counsel, education in mindfulness meditation and support in recovery from the effects of chronic and severe mental illness. Bio:Alyssa Szymanski Botte, MA, MDiv, LCMHC, received her Masters of Arts (MA) in clinical mental health counseling and a Masters of Divinity (MDiv) from Wake Forest University in 2017. Alyssa was ordained in 2016 as a minister by the Baptist denomination and is currently a CBF-endorsed pastoral counselor. Bio:Christina is a Navy veteran and licensed mental health counselor. She currently works part time in community mental health and owns her own private practice, Wags for Wellness, where she provides mental health services for military and first responders, as well as links appropriate clients to organizations that can provide service dogs and therapy dog training.

Bio:Deena graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, IA with a Master's in Rehabilitation, Community, Community and School Counseling in 2007. She originally worked as a school therapist before moving into a community setting. As a therapist Deena believes therapy should be individualized, based on each person's specific needs. Her ultimate goal is to empower clients to change what can be changed and to identify appropriate coping skills for what cannot be changed. She does this by creating a safe, client-centered therapeutic environment that allows the client to identify their individual goals. Bio:Matt has worked with first responders as both a clinician and on various peer support teams since 2019. Matt takes each person's story and tries to help them understand what happened and how they can use it to their advantage. Matt is also a Christian and helps clients who also come from various faith backgrounds, but also individuals who may not be religious or spiritual. Matt is always ready to help clients both in-person and virtually.

Bio:Meredith Frasher, LISW has a history of working in many different types of environments such as hospitals, a residential care facility, a nursing home and mental and behavioral health facilities. Meredith feels that being the daughter of a retired paramedic and working in these different areas of mental health will help her gain trust and rapport with other first responders as she will be able to "get them" better than others might because of her own personal experience with first responders and their culture.

Bio:Dr. Costello is an Army spouse and currently resides in Pittsburg, KS with her spouse and three children. She is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and an approved clinical supervisor. She received her master's degree in counseling psychology from Tarleton State University and her PhD in marriage and family therapy, with a specialization in military family therapy, from Northcentral University. Bio:Julie has a unique view on how trauma affects the body and brain and uses a holistic approach in working with patients including EMDR. As a mother of three and spouse of a first responder, she has deep empathy for those struggling to cope with daily stressors as well as healing from past experiences. Sessions with Julie include looking at different parts of someone's life and looking for the root cause of mental health disturbance. Julie is the founder of Integrative Warrior Assistance, a non-profit organization providing mental health and wellness referral resources and care for first responders and their families, as well as psycho-educational presentations for public service departments. She is a volunteer for the Louisiana Trauma Resource Network (TRN) and teaches classes about nervous system regulation to local law enforcement agencies. Julie has worked with at risk youth and their families as a substance abuse counselor intern. She earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Art degree in Criminal Justice from Southeastern Louisiana University. In a previous career, Julie served in law enforcement.

Bio:Mamie is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Louisiana. She obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport. She provides counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing trauma, grief, depression, anxiety and those seeking better ways to handle life's challenges. Bio:Maria “Mica” Salazar Istre graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with her Master’s in Counselor Education. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Maria has a heart for helping people overcome the obstacles, traumas, and patterns that continue to hold them back from living life to the fullest. As a veteran Marine spouse and family member of law enforcement officers, she understands the unique culture of veterans and first responders. Through her work at a sexual assault center, she has gained clinical experience providing bilingual counseling services to Latinx victims. Bio:Amy has been practicing as a counselor for over 20 years. She is located in Maine but is dually licensed in Maine and New Hampshire. She has worked solely with first responders for the past 7 years and is excited to be part of the national certification program. She owns New Perceptions, Inc. which is dedicated to the treatment of first responders, training and managing peer programs. She is a certified CISM provider and often spends time helping first responders manage day to day crisis situations. She is also the Behavioral Health Director for the Professional Firefighters of Maine.

Bio:Michelle joined the ARMY in 1988 and was active duty for 4 years and then National Guard for another 4 years. She then used her GI Bill to complete her Bachelors in psychology at Washington state University and then her Master's degree at Heritage University. Michelle has worked in several areas of mental health as well as Law Enforcement. She was out-stationed with a police department when she was a social worker for the state of Washington and has worked in a prison in Santa Fe, NM as well as Umatilla, OR. Jackie is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a keen interest and specialized skillset for diagnosing and treating simple and complex post-traumatic stress disorder and related issues. Bio:Jessica LeTourneau, LCPC has been working in the mental health field for over 19 years. She has been established in private practice since 2013 and is the CEO of New Perspectives. Prior to private practice, Jessica worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings such as inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, residential treatment, Veterans Affairs intensive outpatient programs, in-home behavioral intervention, and outpatient clinics. Through her experience, she has encountered hundreds of trauma survivors who were motivated to start the healing process. She is most passionate about treating service members, military veterans, healthcare workers, law enforcement, and first responders. In addition to her tenure in the mental health field, Jessica has an extensive background in health and fitness. She worked as a CrossFit Coach, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor for 15 years. It is her belief that mental and physical health go "hand and hand." When the mind is healthy, the body follows suit. Bio:Michele Santos-Launay graduated from UMBC and South University/ West Palm Beach. She did her 2 years of supervision leading groups in a dual diagnosis inpatient psychiatric facility and then came to Maryland as a coordinator and clinician for the Grassroots Mobile Crisis Team (MCT). She is currently in private practice and Master Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, which is a short term therapy that uses eyes movements to remove negative images and sensations and bring relief for trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, sleep issues and many other mental health concerns. She is CISM trained and has a heart for what First Responders have to deal with on a daily basis. Her goal is to help First Responders recuperate from past traumas and/or resolve any mental health struggles that would make their jobs easier and lives more enjoyable.

Bio:My role is to create a safe space a where you can explore what it means to be you within a therapeutic alliance built on trust and confidentiality, utilizing person-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed perspectives. I specialize in anxiety and trauma-related issues that can include other "big" emotions such as depression and anger and challenges to identity and purpose. I have experience working with both Veterans and First Responder populations.

Bio:Andrea is a licensed marriage and family therapist located in Worcester, MA and is able to provide either in-person sessions at her Worcester location or telehealth sessions. Andrea graduated from Clark University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2005 and went onto achieve a Master of Science degree from University of New Hampshire in Family Studies with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009. Andrea is also licensed as a marriage and family therapist in Texas. Andrea’s specialties include supporting individuals and couples through significant life transitions, relationship and/or marital issues, reproductive and postpartum challenges, trauma and complex trauma, depression, anxiety, and communication issues. Andrea has a special interest in working with first responders and their families and believes it is a privilege to help those who protect and serve others. Bio:Katie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in both RI and MA and is able to provide both in person sessions (at the Franklin office) as well as telehealth sessions. She has worked with many responders and members of the military as well as their families in her years of practice, and began the CFRC program to further hone her skill set and knowledge. Katie aims to create a safe, non-judgmental and comfortable space for all of her clients and utilizes a person centered approach where she meets you where you are at. Katie is not shy about talking through difficult topics and situations and is never shocked when clients use humor as they share. As a licensed social worker and licensed drug and alcohol counselor, she has worked with a diverse client population including first responders for several years. Toni currently has a private practice but has experience working in treatment centers, outpatient programs, domestic violence shelters and hospitals.

Bio:Amy has worked in the mental health field for about 25 years and has been providing counseling for over 20 years. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings ranging from outpatient clinics to residential facilities to psychiatric hospitals. Bio:Bryann Books is a Police Social Worker currently working through Pivotal St. Joe at the Three Rivers Police Department full time. She is trained in DBT and TF-CBT. She is passionate about working with a variety of populations including first responders, teens, LGBTQ+ and gender questioning folks. She has 5+ years in crisis training and a background in ACT, homebased therapy, and outpatient therapy. Her work with the TRPD includes co-responding to calls that range from suicide, domestic violence, community catastrophes, CSCs, etc. to responding solo in the community for more low level social work needs.

Bio:Candace's first priority is making a safe, comfortable and non-judgmental space for her clients. She utilizes EMDR, CPT, CBT and DBT modalities to help clients who feel weighed down by anxiety, depression and trauma. Bio:Catherine has been in private practice for 7 years, and has worked in a Level I Trauma Center for over 9 years. She has worked first hand with families, medical teams and first responders in the moment with their experiences with trauma. She has been involved in her community first as a McGruff house, then in the schools before she worked in the hospital, as they addressed the many changing needs in Minneapolis.

Bio:Dr. Conroy is a retired police officer who has been counseling police officers and police families for over 40 years. He is the author of “Surviving a law Enforcement Career for Cops and Those Who Love Them “. Most recently he has served as a consultant to a number of police agencies and peer support groups. He has also been very involved with the National COPS Organization. He has also worked counseling police officers and families immediately following al traumatic events.

Bio:Jenny received her master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Jenny is trained and nationally certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) through the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification (DBT-LBC). She is trained in Prolonged Exposure (PE and DBT-PE) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to treat PTSD. Jenny has a special interest in helping survivors of trauma reclaim their lives. During her years in Florida, she earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Florida in 2013. She have experience working with first responders/law enforcement, children, teens, adults, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and clients with different ethnicities and backgrounds.

Bio:Tara is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Bozeman, Montana, offering confidential services statewide, both in-person and via tele-health. She grew up in a first responder household in Cincinnati, Ohio, and understands firsthand the unique challenges, stressors, and sacrifices that come with the job. Tara relocated to Bozeman in 2001 and served the Gallatin Valley in a healthcare role prior to becoming a therapist. Bio:Ann is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in private practice. She utilizes teletherapy to work with people near and far. She is a Navy veteran and works with many veterans and their families to address military related issues. Bio:Experienced first responder therapist and veteran.  From 2008 to 2013, Brenda worked as a mental health first responder in the Emergency Services department at the Community Mental Health Center (Lincoln, Nebraska). In 2006, as a requirement for a Master in Forensic Science (MFS) degree, she completed a 90-hour internship at the Jackson County Medical Examiner's Office (Kansas City, Missouri), attending crime scenes with death investigators and observing autopsies. She is also a military veteran (U.S. Navy). Brenda is an EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant as well as Board Certified TeleMental Health provider (BC-TMH). Kim is an Approved Instructor in Assisting Individuals in Crisis and Group Crisis Intervetnion for the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. She currently holds a Certified Critical Incident Stress Management certification from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. SHe has worked with first responders from the World Trade Center 911 as well as military veterans from Vietnam with PTSD and addiction.
